	The Icelandic Saga Centre

Guided tours are offered from The Icelandic Saga Center to places of special historical interest in  Njál´s saga. Many information signs and markers have been set up to make these places more visable to our guests.

	Skógar Folk Museum

The Folk Museum at Skógar preserves the cultural heritage of the Rangárvallasýsla and Vestur-Skaftafellssýsla region, in the form of tools and equipment used at land and sea, crafts, old buildings, books, manuscripts and documents. The museum is open daily all the year around (June to August 9:00 - 18:30; May and September 10:00 - 17:00; October to April 11:00 – 16:00). The cafeteria is open daily in the summer.
