Hostel for it is a traditional Icelandic house with turf walls. From the house, the view of the glaciers Eyjafjallajökull and Mýrdalsjökull is splendid. Compared to modern standards the Hostel is rather small and primitive. There is 2 rooms, one for 7 persons and 1 for 8 persons.

Hotel Hvolsvöllur is located in a peaceful and beautiful town in the centre of Southern Iceland, about 100 km from Iceland's capital city, Reykjavík. Hotel Hvolsvöllur has 43 rooms and a fine restaurant. The Hotel has a bar and a Jacuzzi. Tour trips can be arranged for guests and assistance is provided for travel information.
Smáratún Farm Holidays is a cozy farmstead in southern Iceland with year-round guest accommodations in rooms, cottages or chalets. Also is there a nice country hotel in the centre of Fljótshlíð. Smáratún offers accommodations in rooms on separate floors in the farmhouse. At Smáratún you may also choose to hire either small chalets with four sleeping-places or large cottages with six sleeping-places.

The farm is located beneath the Eyjafjöll mountains. Accommodation in 2 houses. Facilities for disabled. Nearby are e.g. Seljalandsfoss, Dyrhólaey, Sólheimajökull, Skógarfoss waterfall, the folk museum at Skógar (4 km). Hiking path from Skógar over Fimmvörðuháls to Þórsmörk mountain oasis.

We have 6 double rooms with private bathrooms. The house is old Norse house, very cozy with warm atmosphere. We also have available 2 cottages, 38 sqm in size with private bath and a small cooking facility, Accommodating 4-6 people.
There are 5 rooms (18 - 27fm) at the hotel. The size of the hotel makes the service more personal and the guests enjoys the privacy and peacefulness. All the rooms are nicely decorated in romantic stile. They all have private bath with shower, TV, telephone and mini bar.
The hotel has a total of 34 rooms, in two buildings. All are double rooms with washbasin. Twelve-metre indoor pool, with hot-pot outside in a secluded garden. Excellent meeting facilities for groups of up to 30-40 in the main building. Sleeping-bag accomodation for up to 20 people is available in the gymnasium (mattresses on the floor). Open 7 June to 31 August.
The Skogar Hotel boasts 12. The hotel rooms are all furnished to a high standard with telephone, TV and offer the use of a dressing gown. Breakfast room service can be arranged. From Sept. 1st to May 15th the Skogar Hotel is only open at weekends mainly for organized groups and societies. From May 15th we are open 24 hours per day, 7 days a week.

Fljótshlíð the site of the famous Njáls Saga and the South coast with Dyrhólaey, Skógafoss, Skógar, Seljalandsfoss and Mýrdalsjökull glacier. Goose hunting.
Our guests are accomodated in the basement of the house in Vestri-Garðsauki. There you can find 4 bright and individually furnished double rooms, one of them with a big bed and the others each with two single beds, and two bathrooms.
Accommodation in a seperate apartment on ground level with 3 bedrooms (2 double rooms and 1 triple room), living room, kitchen and one bathroom. Breakfast offered if requested in advance. Búðarhóll is located 4 km from the airport Bakki, from which you can take off for the Westman Islands (10 min flight). Ideal location for visits to the nature paradise of Thorsmork, waterfalls of Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss. Great mountain view in peaceful surroundings.

Special and interesting walks in Holtsárgljúfur canyon. Flight to Vestmannaeyjar from Bakki (20 km). Popular place for birdwatchers.
