Sólheimahjáleiga is a farm with a traditional farming and tourism service. The farmers emhasis neat and comfortable environment in a tranquil country place. When possible the farmers give their guests a home-made food and even some products come direct from the garden. Accommodation for 18 persons.

Accommodation in 4 rooms in a renovated house. Sleeping bag accommodation in 3 rooms, cooking facilities. Good location for Dyrhólaey, rich bird life and flora. Beautiful hiking trails, snowmobile tours on Mýrdalsjökull glacier and folk museum at Skógar in the neighborhood. Eystri-Sólheimar is located by road 1.

Nice hiking possibilities in the area, ideal for visiting the closest attractions such as Dyrhólaey, Mýrdalsjökull, Þakgil, Reynisfjara, Hjörleifshöfði, Skógar folk museum and more. Activities offered in the area such as ATV tours, horse riding tours and snowmobile tours.

The hostel is located in Vík. Vík is a small village with appr. 300 inhabitants. From the hostel you have a very good view over the village. In the hostel you will find a member kitchen and a diningroom, All services are close by.

Hotel Höfðabrekka, offers accommodation in 4
separate lodges with altogether 62 double rooms with private bathrooms and
3 double rooms without bathrooms. The hotel has a restaurant serving up to
120 persons. For guests that prefer to cook on their own we offer kitchen
facility and an out door barbeque.
The hotel has 10 double and 2 single comfortable rooms with a private WC, a shower, a hairdryer and a telephone. Downstairs there is a cosy dining room and a bar. We also have a sleepingbag accommodation in single, double and triple rooms w/cooking facilities and a dining room.

Campingsite at Vík with good facilities. Wahing machine, shower, WC and playground.
Campingsite. The road up to the camping site used to be a part of hightway nr. 1 until 1955. Just follow that road, driving a 4X4 car, and you will find a sign that ponts at Þakgil. On site, there are a lot of bautiful hiking routes fit for everyone. Camping site, bathrooms and shower are available. The dining room is a naturally formed cave, and in it there is a grill and a fireplace.
